Because it's not Christmas without lights

Part 3 of Strasbourg, France continues here. *smiles*

If you ever have the opportunity to go to Strasbourg and walk the Christmas markets at night, you should definitely do it! We had such a fun time.

Translation: Strasbourg, the Christmas Capital.  Yes it is.

I love these lights here. Red Curtains!

Road by the Cathedral:

"Angels we have heard on high..."

 White birch streets

"I'm dreaming of a white Christmas"...with Polar Bears!!!

Santa not only has reindeer, but also llamas?? Hey, he's a world traveller, right? Actually, in Alsace, he doesn't have reindeer, just a donkey called Gui (mistletoe). The French children leave carrots and apples in their shoes for Gui on Christmas Eve.

Place Kleber, Christmas tree of 30 meters tall (that's about 100 feet tall)! They had faces of the moon hanging on it. It was kinda cool.

And below the tree, they had a little light village. So pretty!

All I could think of upon seeing it was "O little town of Bethlehem..."

Walking through the last Christmas market that was open that day, we saw a horse drawn taxi. So cool.

We walked through La Galerie de L'Aubette. I loved their high class lights.

Near Place Gutenberg, they had a whole tree and bear all lighted up. This one's for my sisters and brother.

This is a little blurry, but the lights are just pretty. I like the snowflakes.

And thus concludes our Christmas trip to Strasbourg. Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Wishing you all a very

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!!
